A different "partner dance" step will be taught at 3pm in The Arcade each full day of PorcFest XI, culminating in a social dance on Saturday afternoon in which each of the steps can be used.
Merengue is a simple Latin dance that anyone can do. As such, it is a great dance for social mixing. In this class, all the leaders will end up dancing with all the followers. Once the basic "step" is learned, which takes about 40 seconds, one can add in arm movements from most any other dance, for endless variety.
